TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.     Design Phase

1.1    Logical Design

Clients will be provided with Logical design within the agreed time frame to demonstrate the skeletal framework and key functionalities of every website template or services in accordance of the required platforms. An agreed number of amendments could be done at this stage (Additional time will be discussed and agreed with the clients) and once the designs are approved and signed off they will be supplied to the Developing team to build the framework of the site. Any changes following sign off shall be approved but subject to extra development charges.

• Initial Phase of Visual Concepts

At this stage, visual execution of concepts for two different pages will be developed based on the approved logical design and one of them will be Home page of your website. An agreed number of amendments could be done but Amendments after agreed visuals may result in extra cost depends on their complexity and timescales involved in design and development.

• Remaining Visual Concepts

The remaining pages will be visually executed across your chosen concept, and possibly could have another agreed number of amendments, Substantial changes to the signed off visuals may result in extra cost depends on their complexity and timescales involved in design and development.

 

2. Development Phase

Your website will be developed by one our development team chosen based on the complexity, timescales involved, and developmental platform of your requirements and suitability of the team. QuarrySoft will be managing the project and entire process of development thus Client does not need to interfere with the Development team in any way (unless explicitly required).

 

3. Timelines and Contents Supply

Deadlines include various sign-off deadlines, Timelines of the project, supply of content & assets and required access permission will be set at the outset and depending on the receiving sign-offs and any required content or access permission. It will be notified at our earliest possible to arrange revised deadlines, if there is significant delay on these deadlines for any reason that will require a revision of the deadline.

4. Review & Report

The beta version (In Testing Phase) of the development will be shown to the Client and then full version at launch. Client will have the opportunity to feedback any required amendments within 15 days of completion of the project. Required changes can be completed with agreed time period and will be quoted accordingly

 

5. Copyrights & Permissions

The Client have possession of copyright to logos, data including statistical & company, files & Images and QuarrySoft and its employees granted for the access to these and use and publish said material while QuarrySoft owns intellectual property and code until full payment is received. It is client’s responsibility to get the approvals time to time, if any third party contents had been supplied.

6. Third party Services

QuarrySoft will not accept any responsibilities, if any third party services including credit card payment gateways are required for the project and have been used and if any changes that provider makes to their product further down the line and also any bugs or failures caused as a result of those changes. QuarrySoft will guarantees that all third party products are functioning well at the time of the site launch, it will be required to make any development changes as required and it will be quoted on an ad hoc basis.

 

7. Alterations After Delivery

Any bugs or failures on the system or Services reported within the 90 days of the project delivery to the clients will be sorted out at extra cost unless if it is not related to the Development or Services provided by us. QuarrySoft will not accept any responsibility if reported after the period including any alterations include, but are not limited to additions modifications or deletions, errors and failures caused by the Client or a third party once. Any alterations after the mentioned period of delivery will end up with additional timescale and cost depending on the complexity of the issue also it may require a one-off Web Development charge / Service charge before resolving any issues that may arise.

 

8. Amendments on Existing Site

It will be required at least 7 working days for any development work on existing site unless it is business- critical. QuarrySoft will not accept any responsibility for any loss including business unless it is agreed so. You will be advised with an exact timescale and the cost after analyzing the issues with the current site and the expectations, also it will be factored if it is business-critical.

 

9. Hosting
   • Via QuarrySoft

Hosting through the QuarrySoft will enables 24/7 monitoring to protect against security risks and downtime therefore it will be guaranteed that your site will be live 99% unless if the hosting provider is experiencing Excused Downtime, which includes but not limited to

• We are offering 1 year free unmanaged hosting to our valueable customer, and its subject to the Unmanaged Hosting terms and conditions.
• Scheduled Maintenance or Force Majeure Events.
• Emergency maintenance such as security update, software update and apply a patch to address security vulnerability.
• Maintenance that is performed after normal working hours.
• Downtime caused by a non-standard environment such as customers violation of the Agreement including the Acceptable policy, customer or visitor access to machine, customer or visitor or client authored code or changes to the site or services by parties, or exceeds customer’s plan capacity.

 

• Unmanaged Hosting

For Unmanaged hosting our customer acknowledge that we will not provide support in connection with the administration of such Unmanaged hosting, and you warrant that you have all necessary expertise to configure, manage and keep the Unmanaged hosting secure at all times.

The price for hosting setup and site launch are included in your hosting fee.

• Self Hosting

If your site is to be installed on a third-party server, it will be required to grant temporary but full access to your storage directories via FTP and other resources required depending on the nature of the project and the type of configuration required on the server. There may also be charges if any extra work to be carried out in order to get the site live on a third party hosting provider.

 

• Support After launch

Full support will be provided during normal working hours on working days for both the hosting and any other issues that may arise with the website after the launch depending on the package purchased and out of hours support will be provided if an increased service package has been agreed and purchased. Necessary action will be scheduled to be taken in depending on urgency if the issues were sent to info@quarrysoft.com also there may be an extra charge for any work required, if issues are on a third party hosting provider.

 

10. Domain Register

To ensure the full ownership and control over the domain, it has to be paid by client for registration and future renewal fees also QuarrySoft will require access to the control panel information and for the files to update the relevant records in order to get your site live and updated.

 

11. Regular Updates
    • Platform Updates

It is necessary to conduct a regular software updates to CMS platforms like WordPress to ensure they are both secure from cyber attack and compatible with the latest browser types therefore avoid major problems and to ensure the full features and functionalities displayed and working properly. Failure to upgrade your site leaves you open to security risks. There will be a charge involved with these updates depends on the work and can be quoted for separately if required.

 

• Plugin Updates

A regular updates are necessary for CMS plugins to ensure they are secure from cyber attacks. These will need to be quoted separately whether you’re using QuarrySoft hosting or self-hosting.
